It was the First cousins party. It was planned to be on President's Day weekend because this day was important to Grandma and Grandpa George, it was the day they got engaged (I think?). The problem is it's a holiday and doesn't work for everyone, including Diane (it's her birthday). Hope you had a happy birthday.

Janice and Henry came all the way from Price to be there.
But even better than that, Betty George came all the way from California,
through Janice’s computer. She set up her computer and we talked to her real time.
It was great that everyone got to visit with her.

Ok this photograph has nothing to do with the cousins party.
It’s a photo of the river up at uncle DeWayne’s cabin. I think If he had a choice he would be up their on the day this picture was taken. So this is the closest I could get to showing you what he’s doing now.

It was fun for all.

thanks for coming so far everyone.
We love to spend time with each other.

Okay we said no children but......
This is Annette's daughter Jennifer and her new baby Emily.
And we couldn’t have pulled this party off without all of Jennifer’s help.
So she should at least eat some of all the good food, don’t you think?

It was so great to see you Becky!

You can see we had lots of good food .

We all came to Annette and John's House.
We had over 25 there.
It was great to see everyone.

First Post

Yesterday was Aunt Ruth's funeral. It was a beautiful tribute to her life. What we came to realize is that there are so many cousins that we don't know each other anymore. So we created this blog so that we can communicate with one another. Anyone can contribute, just e-mail me with pictures and comments and I will post them. The following pictures are from Ruth's funeral

There are only 4 brothers and sisters remaining. Carol, Leo, Bob, and Steve.

We are going to start a new tradition of getting together the first weekend after Valentines every year and have a cousin's party. The date was chosen to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa George, who were married on Valentines. More information to come.
